Canadian painter Linda Mackey co-founded the Polar Artists Group two years ago. Coordinating with the International Polar Year, most of the group’s 50 artists, photographers, writers and filmmakers have traveled to the Arctic or Antarctic to create art to capture life in these extreme environments.
