The Larsen C Ice Shelf is the most likely suspect to succumb to the warming climate along the Antarctic Peninsula in the next decade. Scientists are headed to the remote ice shelf this season to install instruments that will monitor the floating block of ice before it disintegrates to learn about how such collapses occur.
